We are ready to go. The motorhome is loaded with everything I can think of; there are probably a few kitchen sinks in there! The dogs have packed their Dentastix, balls and grooming equip. They are ready to go. In fact, they followed me back and forth as I loaded the motorhome so that they would not get left behind!
We have been waiting a long time to make this return trip to Alaska. The last few years have been busy dealing with family issues and all that goes with our advancing years. Now we are free to go and we are ready. We're planning to be on the road by 6 am tomorrow. First stop is the St Charles, MO area where we'll have a cookout with relatives tomorrow night and then head north the next morning.
